The
KARIHO brewery was established about 90 years ago. Since then,
we have continued to strictly maintain the traditional and original
methods with pride in our craftsmanship, which has allowed us
to be successful in our business efforts.Akita prefecture is well
known as a source of high quality water and fine rice, both of
which are natural prerequisites for brewing great sake. Since
it is located in the northern region of Japan, fermentation takes
place at very low temperatures in the extremely cold wintertime,
using a very unique brewing method.

This
sake is fermented to its extreme limits in a very traditional method. Extremely
dry, full-bodied and with a concentrated taste, yet with robustflavor and
a relatively high acidity. This sake goes well with more moderately flavored
dishes. Recommended drinking temperature: 15-20C or 30-40C. |
